#85 – Joseph Salvatore ‘Joe’ Lovano (b. 1952). American jazz saxophonist, alto clarinetist, flautist, and drummer. Albums include: From the Soul (1991), Rush Hour (1994) and Joe Lovano and Hank Jones: Live at Dizzy’s (2006).
Again, very little time. Lovano was born in the States to Sicilian-American parents. This Italian connection provided the starting point for the colours. The letters split well into a block and the angle made it more dynamic.
