Woody Herman

Day 88
#83 – Woodrow Charles ‘Woody’ Herman (1913–1987). American jazz clarinetist, saxophonist, singer and big band leader. Many of his groups were known as ‘Herds’. Albums include: Woodchopper’s Ball (1939) and albums The Thundering Herds (1947) and Giant Steps (1973).

Herman set up a number of bands, often referred to as The Herd. I just kept this one simple by playing with the letters in a small group, splitting out the words by using colour.
